Benson is a big boy

I took Benson to the potty this morning and he said I poop in potty and then he did! Then we got him a potty treat and he shared it with Sarah without anyone asking him to! He is a good kid.

Hogle Zoo

We went to the zoo after thanksgiving. We saw Jamie and Jen and their kids there too. Lots of fun.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sarah had an apple for thanksgiving dinner and had some trouble when she tried to cut it with a butter knife! We did not get seconds or pie because we were in the urgent care. Happy Thanksgiving!

Pomagranite Jelly

Sarah and I made Pomagranite jelly today. It is yummy and pretty. I always seem to under estimate the amount of time and energy it will take for things like that, but it was fun and not too hard. My legs hurt tonight though from all the standing.

We blended and squeezed the juice out of the seeds and then cook and canned the jelly. We made 5 jars. Sarah had fun getting the juice out but wanted to watch a movie while I cooked it. She loved eating it though! She wanted to have peanut butter and jelly for dinner instead of pickles which are usually her favorite!

Birthday party for Matt

We had a BYU football jersey cake for Matt's birthday. We went to LA for Benson to have a doctor appointment and then went to the Temple and stayed the night. We took his cake with us but never had time to eat it so we brought it back and had it Saturday might instead.

San Diego

Matt went on Air Craft Carrier for work so the kids and I went and played in San Diego and Balboa Park. We saw lots of cool stuff, but only took a few pictures. The alligator was outside a museum and the cow was outside a Ben and Jerry's on the wharf. The kids played on the cow and chased the birds for over an hour. While we were walking down the pier Benson found a spot where there was no fence and almost fell in the water.
